  • What Weight Distribution Hitch with Sway Control do You Recommend for My 29-Foot 7,500 Trailer?
  • For your 7,500 pound camper with a tongue weight of 500 pounds, the 500 pounds is most likely the dry weight. With that being said, you most likely have a loaded tongue weight of around 750 - 1,000 pounds. This weight is important to determine the correct firmness of the setup. With that factor in mind, I recommend the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control - Round - 10,000 lbs GTW, 1,000 lbs TW # FA94-00-1000. The e2 comes with side-to-side sway control to dramatically...

  • Recommended Replacement For An Audiovox AWM200 RV Stereo System
  • I couldn't find the exact dimensions the Audiovox AWM200, but from the pictures I could find it is much larger than anything we currently offer so you would need to make a cover plate to fill the hole and cut another hole in the cover plate for the new stereo to mount into. The Jensen RV Stereo w DVD Player # JWM60A you were looking at is a really popular option, but you'll want to double check the dimensions of your current cutout hole to ensure that it's at least 6" tall. If you can...

  • Recommended Bearings, Grease Seals, And Brake Assemblies For A 2011 Starcraft Travel Star 237CKS

If you'd like to purchase a kit with these components you can use part # BK2-100, but keep in mind this kit is for only one hub so you'll need four of them to replace everything on the trailer. For the brake assemblies you'll need part # 23-26-27...

  • Replacement Vent Lid for 2006 Starcraft Travel Star Travel Trailer
  • Replacement vent lids like # BV0554-01 are best selected by confirming which style of hinge is used on the vent. If you refer to the linked photo you will see the four basic types commonly found on trailer roof vents. These are the 3-point, 4-point, continuous metal and continuous plastic types. The part # BV0554-01 you referenced uses a continuous metal hinge. Now simply use the linked page to our vent cover page to choose the hinge type by clicking on the appropriate filter, and then...

  • Roof Vent for a StarCraft Pop Up Camper
  • We can find you a new roof vent for your StarCraft Camper, though we do not have access to parts list for each year, make and model of trailer. Should you have the standard 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" roof vent opening I recommend taking a look at the Ventline Ventadome # V2092SP-28 for a manual lift vent without a fan, or Ventline Ventadome # V2119-601-00 for a powered lift vent with a 12V fan; this vent is white though it also comes in smoke # V2119-603-00. With that being said, I won't be able to confirm if the: -Progressive Dynamics RV Power Control Center with AC/DC Panel and Converter/Smart Charger # PD4135K will work as a replacement or not. • Can Curt RockerBall be Used with Weight Distribution
  • Good question. I checked with Curt because I haven't had this come up yet but unfortunately no, the RockerBall, part # C29FR, cannot be used with a weight distribution system. Looking at your pictures I think you have a Blue Ox SwayPro system, like part # BXW0753. If I'm correct then you need a standard 2-5/16 inch ball with either a 1 or 1-1/4 inch shank. Beyond that the choice is yours so part # 63847 is a good option for a a 1 inch or part # 63840 for a 1-1/4 inch.

  • Solution for Replacement 19-1/2" Assist Handle on 2013 Jayco StarCraft Hybrid
  • The best solution is to replace your current assist handle with one that has similar dimensions like the # 37248325 you were looking at. This measures 19-5/16" between the mounting holes and comes with a lifetime warranty. Based on my research, there are no replacement handles that match 19-1/2" exactly.

  • How to Determine Correct Awning Arm Assembly Replacement
  • You don't have to know the model number, just the manufacturer of the awning for the replacement arm assembly. We don't have any way to reference what parts are on any trailer so you'll have to contact the trailer manufacturer with your VIN if you aren't sure. And after that it's pretty simple as you just need to measure the awning arm assembly straight down from the top to bottom. For example, if you had a Carefree, Dometic, or Solera RV awning and you measured 63 inches for the arm assembly...

  • How to Determine the Appropriate Solar Panel Kit For an Off Grid Trip in a 2006 Starcraft Trailer
  • A good rule of thumb would be 1 solar panel for 100 amp hours (ah) of battery. The larger your battery bank, the longer you will be able to use your equipment. The amount of solar panels will just dictate how long it will take to restore the batteries back to fully charged. More than likely a good size would be (2) 100 ah batteries with a 2 solar panel kit like the Go Power Solar Elite Charging System # 34282184. But, I have also linked a solar calculator. Using this solar calculator,...
